Develop a visual identity for Hutchison Ports’ revolutionary new Operating System, Veronica
Context
Hutchison Ports, the largest port operator globally, were launching a revolutionary new terminal operating system, Veronica. The launch would be very high profile, seeing as the previous OS had not been well received by the Ports, dragged down by a clunky interface and bugs.
Ask
Develop the creative identity/logo, and wider creative applications and communication tools for Veronica OS.
Process
I needed to understand what this new Operating System represented for the business. Why was there a need for a change, what would this new system bring about? We held a series of briefing sessions with the client as well as combing through existing manuals on the OS. Through these, we created a series of thematic pillars that defined the new Operating System, ensuring the Creative team could capture its essence when developing the identity.
Truth
Veronica represents a major step change for Hutchison’s port operations, enabling Ports to go from speculation-driven to data-driven, from reactive to proactive and from fragmented parts to connected.
Veronica allows Ports to think and move in unison, a perfect mirror of the Ports activity
